This kit provides the parts needed to make a code-compliant off-grid system (in fact, the Lux Power inverter can be grid-tied as well, and backfeed the grid if needed). The Lux Power all-in-one inverter makes installation easy!
Please keep in mind that the inverter itself uses roughly 1 – 1.5 kWh/day, leaving around 6 – 6.5 kWh/day usable for summer and 2.2 – 2.7 kWh/day for winter. There is room to add more solar PV.
Racking is not provided; this kit could be installed ground-mounted or on a roof. We can provide the parts needed for both. The kit as it is configured is just one possibility. It can be adjusted to meet your needs, by adding more panels, battery capacity, or battery type, just ask us.
