30-day returns on damaged or incorrect items

If your product arrives damaged, defective or different from what you ordered, contact us within 30 days of delivery. We will replace it or refund you in full, including shipping costs.

How to start a return

1. Email support@offgridnexus.ca with your order number, a short description and photos of the problem.

2. We reply within 1 business day with the next steps and a return authorization.

3. Once the return is approved, we ship a replacement or refund your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please do not ship items back without a return authorization.

Other returns

Because our products ship by freight directly from our suppliers, we don't accept returns for change of mind on items that arrived in good condition. If you're unsure which product is right for you, call or email us before you order and we'll help you choose.

Order cancellation

You can cancel your order free of charge before it ships.

Warranty

All products are covered by their manufacturer's warranty (for example, Sun-Mar composting toilets carry a 3-year parts warranty; inverter and battery warranties vary by brand). You don't have to deal with the manufacturer alone: contact us and we handle the warranty claim with the manufacturer for you.

Warranties do not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse or modifications. We recommend having electrical equipment installed by a licensed electrician.

Your legal rights

This policy does not limit your rights under the Quebec Consumer Protection Act or other applicable consumer protection laws, including the legal warranty of quality.
